Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our guides and driven to your hotel, your base from which to explore the World Heritage city of Luang Prabang.
We will arrange guided tours, excursions and activities according to your interests and preferences but you may want to explore the side streets and back alleys to discover the hidden charms of Luang Prabag for yourself.
We recommend the Wat Xieng Thong temple, the National Museum (the former Royal Palace) and a climb up the 328 steps to Phousi Mountain for rewarding views of the city. Just outside the city are the Kuang Si Falls, with an inviting turquoise pool which is ideal for swimming.
If you get up before dawn you can witness robed monks doing their early-morning rounds to receive alms.
Fly to Vientiane for a two night stay in the capital.
We recommend a visit to Wat Sisaket, with hundreds of miniature Buddha statues and to That Luang with its central lotus-bud spire and 30 surrounding stupas - the most sacred structure in the country.
A trip to the COPE Visitor Centre provides a moving insight into the Secret War which left Laos the most heavily bombed country in history. COPE provides prosthetic limbs, treatment and rehabilitation for Lao people with physical disabilities.
Fly to Phnom Penh and transfer to your hotel.
There is much to choose from in this attractive former French city: the Royal Palace, the National Museum with its excellent Khmer collections, the Russian and Central markets, various temples and monasteries, perhaps a drink at the Foreign Correspondents club, or at the Raffles Le Royale Elephant Bar.
For those with an interest in recent Cambodian history, there is the chance of an excursion to the Killing Fields and to the Khmer Rouge's S21 detention centre, the grim Tuol Sleng Prison.
Siem Reap & Angkor Wat
Fly to Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. This will be your base for excursions to Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom and the nearby temples and waterfalls.
We will be happy to discuss excursions and activities for your stay.
We recommend you keep one evening free for the Phare Ponleu Selpak Circus.
What better way to end this trip than with a few days at the luxury island of Song Saa? The island is reached by plane from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville and onward by speedboat.
Depart Phnom Penh
Transfer from Song Saa to Sihanoukville and fly to Phnom Penn in time to check in for your flights home.
